Live feed from the Single Axis Geophone Sensor

This channel (EHZ) shows real time data coming from a single-axis Shake & Boom sensor as a function of time. The sensor is orientated vertically, representing the Y-axis.

The upper trace is the actual raw data. The vertical axis is in metres per second representing up and down ground motion (i.e. along the Y-axis). These extremely small vibrational movements are effectively the background signal level and are typically of the order of fractions of millimetres per second in my region. That is, until something bigger happens!

The horizontal axis is time over the last few minutes. The lower trace is a waterfall plot in false colour representing motion intensity.
